RIMA Group is one of Brazil's leading producers of magnesium and aluminum die-cast parts, known as pressure die casting (FSP). Founded to meet the demands of the automotive sector and the 3C segment (Computers, Communications, and Consumer Electronics), as well as hand tools and aerospace applications, the Pressure Die Casting Division focuses on delivering high-quality cast components, offering added value through painting, machining, and pre-assembly services.
With a unique approach, the RIMA Group adopts an innovative, verticalized production philosophy, covering everything from the local production of light metal alloys to the transportation of liquid primary magnesium and secondary aluminium, including in-house recycling. This process results in productivity gains and reduced energy consumption.
The RIMA die casting plant has fully automated production cells, guaranteeing the necessary process stability.

Among the routine quality inspections, we can list:
To broaden its range of services, RIMA has a department specialized in machining and pre-assembly of aluminum and magnesium parts for the automotive, 3C and aeronautics segments.
With qualified professionals and precision equipment, the machining sector delivers semi-finished and finished products, including various component assemblies.
The RIMA Group has a solid culture when it comes to Quality Management. That's why the Die Casting division is ISO9001 and ISO14001 certified, as are all of RIMA’s units. In addition, it follows global automotive guidelines with regard to Quality Management. All Quality Core Tools are applied throughout the process and product development phases, working in a multidisciplinary manner with their respective sectors.
The FSP has state-of-the-art equipment in its laboratories, as well as a team trained to guarantee the quality control of its products through chemical, granulometric, metallographic, mechanical, dimensional and X-ray analyses.
The RIMA Group has state-of-the-art equipment in its various laboratories, with personnel trained to meet the demands of quality control and capacity to do chemical, granulometric, metallographic, mechanical, dimensional, and X-ray analyses, among many others.
The MOTORAV engine block is a 100% RIMA product, with total control over the raw material (primary magnesium), the die-casting, machining and final assembly processes, involving all FSP’s and UMM’s production areas.
MOTORAV is the only supplier of fully machined and assembled air-cooled engine blocks in various engine versions produced in the AS41 Alloy, meeting the international quality standard for supplying the world market, since the RIMA Group acquired the former Volkswagen Brazil air-cooled engine block factory, transferring it from São Bernardo dos Campos to Bocaiúva.
